Inglemoor Lacrosse Club

  • Lacrosse opportunities for grades K-12 in the Inglemoor feeder areas.
  • The Sport:  Lacrosse is a fun and fast-paced team sport where players pass, catch, dodge, and shoot-on-goal with a netted stick (Crosse). There can be varying formats (Field, Box, Sixes), of which this club primarily plays Field Lacrosse.
  • The Players:  Teams are made up kids from grades K-2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, and High School (Varsity, or both Varsity and JV when sufficient enrollment). As a recreational club, our players range from new (never heard of Lacrosse) to experienced (played for years and may pursue additional off-season select/travel Lacrosse programs). So don't be afraid if you have no Lacrosse knowledge/skill.
[Note: Our club is open to both boys and girls, but consider that separately there is an excellent Northshore Girls Lacrosse program (https://nsglax.org/) which teaches/plays to Women's rules (non-contact) which vary from Men's rules (contact) of Lacrosse].
  • The Coaches:  Coaches can vary by team and availability. We try to pull from experienced Lacrosse players (HS Coaches, HS Players, parents/community) to support player learning/growth, but also utilize parent volunteers (providing them resources, written/digital and mentoring, to grow their coaching ability).
  • The Club:  Inglemoor Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, run by parent/community volunteers to offer Lacrosse opportunities while trying to minimize the cost to players/families. Club boundaries are the Inglemoor High School feeder boundaries [REF: Kenmore WA, with portions of Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland; NOTE - if registrations are low then we will combine with neighboring clubs].
  • The Season:
Spring Season - Feb-May (practices start in February, games start in March). Practices on Weekday evenings (days/times can vary by age group and field availability) and Games on Saturdays (days/times set around end of Feb). [REF: K-2 typically 1 practice/week about 1-1.5hrs each; 3/4 and 5/6 typically 2 practices/week about 1.5-2hrs each; 7/8 typically 2-3 practices/week about 1.5-2hrs each; HS 4-5 days/week, about 2hrs each.]
"Fall-Ball" - Optional off-season Sept-Oct. Sundays-only (to avoid conflicting with Soccer/Football). Typically 3 Sundays of practices (1-2hrs/each) followed by 5 Sundays of games (varies by age group).
  • The Cost:
USA Lacrosse Membership (yearly about $35) + Registration Fee (varies by season and age group, see registration) + Gear (varies by new/used/rent/loan/gift).
Please contact us (club or coach) if the Cost would be a barrier or hardship to playing lacrosse. The club has to cover direct and overhead costs, but at times through donations/surplus we may be able to supplement players with need-based scholarships and/or gear.
